"If youre reading this particular Daily Five, youre likely aware that Naughty Dog has run into a fewlets call them hiccups. Im not entirely sure that this well-worn phrase applies in all circumstances, but when considering a series now spanning 14 years, its almost certainly one developers RedLynx would have been at least mindful of whilst crafting Trials Fusion. In 2009, Trials HD set a new series standard for the motocross simulator which successor Trials Evolution somehow matched, and duly surpassed in 2012. So, just two years on, how would Trials Fusion push the series beyond what its closest predecessors had laid before it? How could it take…

Octodad: Dadliest Catch Review: An Affirmative Blub I Gimme Gimme Games

GGG writes in their review of Octodad: "Octodad: Dadliest Catch is finally available for Sony's PS4 console after releasing months ago on PC. This indie gaming gem is just as good on a console. Then again, it would be an amazing, funny and charming experience regardless of the platform it is on anyway. The game is an exercise in tolerance for new and unique game mechanics, showing us that after years of the industry dishing out repetitive sequels that we can learn new concepts. Thankfully Young Horses packed it with enough humor and zaniness to make even the most frustrating moments a joy."

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (PS4) Review | WGTC

John from We Got This Covered wrote: I never played the original version of Final Fantasy XIV that launched back in 2010, but I am well aware of the heavy criticism that Square Enixs second MMORPG in the iconic series received when it first launched. Thankfully, this decision seems to have been the right one in the long run, as this revamp, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, has seen a good amount of success since its launch last year on the PS3 and PC.
