Strider Review | gamrReview

gamrReview's Brent Galietti: "We haven't seen a new Strider game in over a decade, so it's good to see Double Helix bring the master ninja back in Strider. Although the game has some faults and the environments and graphics feel mundane, hacking, slashing, and overpowering foes feels great, like controlling a powerful ninja should. This is a solid return for the Striderseries and I look forward to seeing how it evolves from this point on."

Oh Hey, Diablo 3 Is Good Now | Whats New And Different?

It was an immensely hyped game leading up to its release, and everything shown for it implied it would be worth the wait, that long wait that preceded every major Blizzard release. A few warning signs tipped us off that not everything was shiny, like the always-on DRM, and systems like the Auction House interfered (to me, at least) with some defining series and genre staples.

Women's football is something EA "would love" to do

"Ladies football in itself is something that we often discuss here," Prior told Gamereactor, "as it is growing. There's certain key territories where it's massive. In the US they're real stars over here, the ladies team. In Canada it's big, I think in Germany it's pretty big. So it's definitely on the rise and it's something that we - time and resources allowing - would love to get in."

The Watch Dogs Graphical Downgrade Is Understandable, But Is It Justified?

EGMR writes: "Im sure if youve been around the internet during the last few days you would have caught wind of the latest controversy. That is, the likelihood that Watch Dogs received quite a major graphical downgrade since its 2012 E3 showing, which blew many minds around the world. Earlier this morning, we posted a comparison video which showed the rather alarming differences between then and now. Now in this write-up I hope to explore both sides of it, rather than just launch into an attack on Ubisoft and the game."

TowerFall Ascension Review - Gamer Chatter

The simplistic 8-bit style gameplay found in TowerFall Ascension can be easily summed up as frantic yet satisfying. The balance and depth found in the combat, whether its single player, co-op, or local multiplayer hold a quality that even some Triple A titles struggle to obtain.

So now Im back to sitting here, staring at my PS4, Xbox 360, PC and a hundred other gadgets, surrounded by literally hundreds of games and even more hidden away on hard drives wondering what to play next. And the simple fact is I just want to press that little button on my PS4 Dual Shock, whisper PlayStation, Final Fantasy, Start into my headset (I play late at night so dont want to disturb the cats) and get right back into leveling my Gladiator, unlocking a Retainer…

Sony Pushes For PS4 Domination on Multiplatforms with Watch_Dogs/Destiny Ads During Popular Shows

During the last generation of consoles, with the PS3 and the Xbox 360, most of the times commercials of multiplatform games featured a mini-ad of Microsofts console at the end, stating that the game was on Xbox 360 and making no mention of the rival. That raised the awareness about the 360 version and almost inevitably resulted in better sales. Looks like Sony has learned the lesson, and is now repaying the rival with the same coin.
