There Came an Echo is voice control done right | GameZone Preview

GameZone: "Many have tried, but few have succeeded in effectively utilizing voice commands in video games. So it's understandable if you're a little skeptical when you hear that There Came an Echo is being built from the ground up with voice command gameplay in mind. Here's the thing though, it actually works."

Opinion: If all we get from PS4 and Xbox One is 60 frames per second, Im OK with that

Oliver at El33tonline writes: "Playing Bioshock: Infinite on PC was a revelation for me. Of course, Ive played console games that run at 60 frames per second before. The Call of Duty series prides itself on keeping both the singleplayer and multiplayer portions of the games running at a smooth framerate while certain fighting and racing games, almost by necessity, must be uncompromising in the speed at which their visuals are delivered on-screen. So why was Bioshock Infinite on PC so different?"

Otaku Dome: Are Disney Infinity & Skylanders Getting Ready To Go Head-To-Head This Year?

Otaku Dome: It seems as if both the Skylanders & Disney Infinity camps are getting ready to make some big announcements for their toy to games franchises. Earlier this week Disney Interactive sent out invitations to press for an event that focuses on their new toy to game franchise which made its debut last August. The title which featured a number of new and classic Disney characters in an open world adventure game that sold quite well, along with the extra content such as toy boxes, and figures, so it was only natural that a second entry would be coming soon after.

Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut Review - Glitch Cat

Glitch Cat - Strike Suit Zero: Directors Cut went with the kitchen-sink approach: lets throw in everything and see what sticks. Fun concepts like dogfights and mechs are driven to the ground by repetition and overwhelming the player with an absurd amount of enemies and never-ending stages. While its music and backdrops are impressive, and the Strike Suit itself is fun to use, they cant save this deeply monotonous experience. Here, simple wouldve proved to be better.

Review: LEGO The Hobbit | GamerPops

Greg writes "I told my son we couldnt start on our LEGO The Hobbit review playthrough until he finished his supper and got in his pajamas. I swear I have never seen that kid eat or move so fast, which is perhaps the best compliment I could ever offer to LEGO The Hobbit." "The second best compliment is that this is also a really great two-thirds of a game."

PSN Network Maintenance On Monday 21st, Yep, That's Easter Monday

Do you think anyone in Sony owns a calendar? I work for a business that has offices across the globe and we always check for local holidays before planning ahead, for example I am fully aware that it is Vesak Day across certain Asian territories on May 15th. I also know that most of Asia and the United States will have a holiday on Good Friday, 18th April, but they are back to work on Monday 21st.
