Release the Hounds - Hands-On with a Near Complete Watch Dogs - AusGamers

AusGamers was invited to the recent Watch_Dogs hands-on event and has previewed their experience, writing: "Working with those four systems and adding stealth possibilities, it really is about how a player combines all those elements in their own unique gameplay style. This preview gave me a great example of this experience when we jumped forward a few acts. With many of the skills and items now unlocked at this stage I was dropped into a typically action themed scenario. With Aidan being alone here, it was important to deal with a group of hostiles in the most efficient way possible. Therefore,…

Trials Fusion Review | HAL

Ross Hartley: "With Trials Fusion, it is still a very good game. The unique and satisfying core gameplay from the previous games is very much still present and the level design is as brilliant as ever. However, Fusion doesn't add much that Evolution didn't already have and in some cases, takes things away unnecessarily. Hardcore Trials fans will have already bought Fusion but for the rest of us, I think Evolution is the better game."

Octodad: Dadliest Catch Review | CheatCC

CCC Says: "When a game has complicated and hard to understand controls, its usually a flaw. However, Octodad: Dadliest Catch for the PS4 has some of the worst controls of any game I have ever played and thats the entire point. In a way, Octodad manages to satire the very things we take for granted in gaming, the control scheme, using a unique light hearted brand of comedy that will have you laughing to the end. OF course, this still comes with more than its fair share of frustration and failure, considering the whole point of the game is to struggle with the controls, but you never quite get to…

PSBlog: Watch_Dogs on PS4: Hands-on

PSBlog: Watch_Dogs will rewire the way open-world games are played. A near-future Chicago, teeming with criminal intent, serves as a playground, weapon, and resource in one interconnected latticework of data. And at the heart of it all stands Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker with a painful history. Within the first few hours of Watch_Dogs on PS4, Aidens story of revenge has enough potential to match the anticipation the gaming community has leveled at it.
