The Evil Within at PAX East 2014 Impressions - New England Gamer

James writes - "So there we were, first thing in the morning on Friday. It was roughly 9AM and the media hour had begun. With all of the awesome games being shown off, it was nearly impossible to pick just one booth to visit first but we finally decided on the Bethesda booth. We were the first two people inside the demo room for The Evil Within and it was almost completely dark, which set the tone for the live demo we were about to watch. Once they were ready to begin, the screen in front of us with the Bethesda logo faded into a screen with two options; PAX East Demo 1 and PAX East Demo 2."

Examiner: Welcome to the future. Thats the first thing Red Lynx blasts into your eager ears when you load up its newly released platform racer, Trials Fusion. Comparable to the titles that came before it, Fusion shines spectacularly with its sharp interface, sophisticated and refined environments, and an overall spiritedness that makes you feel alive inside even when youre ready to smash your controller.

Trials Fusion Review | Stealthy Box

"When Redlynx released Trials on the Xbox 360 last generation, I was immediately sold on the concept as Im a glutton for punishment and have an addiction to better my performance the more I play. So when it was announced that they were working on Trials Fusion this generation and it was coming to Sonys PlayStation 4, I was sold." - David Wales

TowerFall Ascension - As We Play I Expansive

Controls are simple, fluid and come naturally, but they play out like some wise-old-mans statement of the game, Chess. Easy to pick up, hard to master. It is all very obvious what you have to do and when you have to do it, but I still found I would fall for the same tricks from an enemy over and over and over. While the controls are not really hard to master, the timing required creates difficulties. Graphically, TowerFall Ascension has its grass-roots to thank from the original Matt Makes Games Game on the Ouya, simply called TowerFall. The thing is, the graphics look great, quirky enough to…

Trials Fusion Review | Coin-Op TV

Trials Fusion offers a good deal more content than the previous games, but it's the quality that has me on board. Overall Trials Fusion is an extremely well-made game that is worth the money if you're a huge Trials fan.

30plus gamer Review: Stealth Ince: A Clone in the Dark Ultimate Edition

Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark Ultimate Edition is a clash between bubbly and gory. In case you didnt know, this is a renamed Curve Studios game that has since been rereleased on PS3, Vita and now PS4. Play as one of the goofy looking bald mascots sporting cylindrical night vision goggles. Move safely through the shadows as the player is tasked with progressing through each stage. The goal, of course, is to develop the ultimate ninja through trial and error.

Watch Dogs Animating a Next-Gen City

When you play Watch Dogs, be sure to pay attention to Aiden Pearces thumbs. This was something that was actually refined during the games delay. No, really. To be fair, when it came to the animation in Watch Dogs, the game was in already in excellent shape before the delay.

Explosive animals. If I didnt have your attention with that, then allow me to introduce you to Super Exploding Zoo the latest title from Honeyslug that gives you animals that explode. It was a late announcement for EGX Rezzed 2014, but one of my personal favourites at the expo, for the simple reason that youre saving the planet from Aliens with exploding animals. For the purpose of this preview, I played it on Playstation 4.

5 Voices The Next Call of Duty DLC Should Include

JM: "If for some reason you havent heard the news yet, there will soon be a $3 DLC featuring Snoop Doggs voice replacing the regular announcers voice in multiplayer for Call of Duty. So if you choose to pay the fee, every time you get a kill streak, win a match, lose a match, start a match, and so on, you will be greeted by Snoop Dogg filling you in. I was never a huge Snoop Dogg fan, but this got me wondering. Whos voice would I pay for?"
