Grave Aiming for PlayStation 4

VRFocus - Upcoming survival horror title Grave has released a new set of Kickstarter stretch goals, the first of which teases a PlayStation 4 version of the videogame. Developer Broken Window Studios has promised a port to the console if the campaign reaches $40,000 USD in funding. That said, the campaign, which ends on 28th April 2014, is still hoping to raise its base goal of $30,000, with just over $2,000 left to go. It will launch on PC, Mac and Linux with support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset, with an Xbox One version also confirmed.

'GTA' teaches you a lot, whereas 'Watch Dogs' encourages you to wonder, says dev

Watch Dogs will be giving the power and freedom to the players when it releases on May 27, but the inspiration to allow players explore and discover the game and its mechanics is key. Some games, like GTA, choose to show players how to use nearly all of its mechanics, but Ubisoft wants Watch Dogs players to discover things on their own through curiosity and intuition.

Trials Fusion - Review | GamingLives

GamingLives takes a look at the third release in RedLynx's motocross-based puzzle platformer, Trials Fusion. "As exciting as it was to see a new Trials game hit the shelves, not even the overhauled track builder can pull me back to the point where I would happily sink hours on end into improving my times, beating my friends, building tracks that would drive many insane. Theres just something missing. But that missing link is me speaking from a personal point of view and, when that aspect is removed, whats left is still one hell of a great game."

Kickstarter Profile: Mark of the Old Ones

From Strategyinformer.com: "The literary works of HP Lovecraft are known the world over for their chilling blend of philosophy, science and cosmology, and horror one example being the ever popular Cthulhu Mythos. It's no surprise then that such original ideas went on to influence more contemporary art forms such as film, graphic novels and videogames. This particular horror sub-genre will soon be joined by the distinctly Lovecraftian Mark of the Old Ones (MotOO), that is if their Kickstarter campaign goes well."

Watch_Dogs Interview: The Next Evolution of Open World Gaming

"When Ubisoft Montreal first showcased Watch_Dogs at E3 2012, there was genuine curiosity and buzz about the game. Over the years, it's been built up and broken down with delays, rumours, additional console generations, talks of visual downgrades. It'll finally be out on May 27th and will either silence or embolden critics. Either way, Watch_Dogs marks a significant step forward for the open world genre."

Kickstarter Weekly: Pixel Noir and Omori

Garrett from the Koalition writes: I write about many RPGs for the Kickstarter Weeklytypically roguelikes and JRPGs. The 21st issue is no different, although the games themselves take their own different approach to the genre. Pixel Noir takes the traditional turn-based RPG and applies it to a noir setting; Omori is a surreal psychological horror RPG. If youre looking for something different in your RPGs, then this weeks issue is especially for you.

The Legend of Hideo Kojima Creator of Metal Gear Solid

Cinelinx: " Thinking about it, how does one guy envision such great games such as Metal Gear or Zone of the Enders, while at the same time carrying an entire company on his shoulders? Hideo Kojima, owner of Kojima Productions, has been doing just that for Konami for decades now. The creator of one of the most iconic franchises in gaming has even stepped up to have a big role in the publisher side of things. He helps not only operate Kojima Productions, but Konami itself. Seems logical, through one of your leading men into bigger shoes. Yet how does he do it?"

Technolust Dev Talks Demo Reception, Action and 'Chapter 2'

The developers free demo has turned a lot of heads with its impressive virtual space, designed with a fantastic cyberpunk art style and littered with pop culture references.
