Lords of the Fallen on PS4: A Challenge Worth Facing

I've seen my share of challenging games, and I loved a whole lot of them. And honestly speaking, I could never put up with so many people that quit playing them early. But I've come around full circle to the point where I don’t see their impatience as a shortcoming anymore. There's room for improvement in game design. And I believe that the team behind Lords of the Fallen on PS4 is after something that will narrow the gap between mainstream and core players. One bit at a time, that is.

Town Building VR Title Astraea Hits Kickstarter & Steam Greenlight

VRFocus - Indie developer Norwind Interactive has launched both a Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight campaign for its upcoming town building simulation title, Astraea. The former is hoping to raise $10,000 CAD before 24th Mary 2014 to fund development while the latter aims to secure enough positive votes to be sold on Valves digital store come release. The title is set to release with full support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset.

Pixel Noir developer SWDTech announces new cross save feature

16-bit detective thriller Pixel Noir will feature an integrated cross platform save system, allowing owners to "play it on whatever they want with no shortcomings." "Cross Save is the reason that when you pledge to our Kickstarter, you will receive the game on TWO platformsa console/PC platform as well a mobile platform," writes developer Kunal Majmudar on the game's Kickstarter page. "And if you have a mobile lifestyle (which apparently 90+% of you do), this is great news for you."
